One New OLIVER Model 4455 22” Wide Single Planer. This Planer is available with two (2) styles of a cutter head, straight 4 knife HSS, 2-sided insert Helical and the authentic Byrd Shelix head. Sectional infeed roller and chip breaker apply uniform pressure on uneven stock, coupled with a driven outfeed roller to keep you stock moving smoothly. Digital thickness readout for precise thickness settings. 3 V-Belt drive transfers power to drivetrain and cutterhead. Magnetic controls with emergency off switch for safety. Hinged access to cutterhead and feed rollers for quick set-up. Easy access to motor, drive train, and gearbox for easy maintenance and adjustment.
